Sewing bugs are what my grandmother called cicadas, I’m excited that there will now be a song to play on a hot summer day to accompany them in their pulsating rhythmic buzzing. You can find the final mix of the song here.

Whenever I hear them my mind travels back to sipping ice tea with Granny under the oak tree in our back yard, listening to the “sewing bugs” taking turns singing their buzzing song … strategically located at varying distances in different trees around the neighborhood … a “surround sound” of cicadas music!
